The Guy Zinda Band includes current and former members of Big Easy Rhythm, Sammy Rimington, Jake & the Family Jewels, Little Boy Blues, 1917 Jazz Band, Blake Street Gut Band, The Modeans, Bill Baker's Satins, Ebin-Rose Trio, Robert Crotty Blues Band, Stormin' Norman & Suzy among others. Members Johnny Russell on harp, percussion & vocals; DeArmond Mourgen on guitar & vocals, Bernie Soroko on drums & vocals, and Bobo Lavorgna on bass & vocals have performed and recorded throughout the Northeast and all points South and West in some of the most renowned venues over the past five decades.
The influence of rock, blues, R&B, jazz, swing and soul music is evident from the first note the band plays until the very last dancer is ready to drop at the end of every performance. No venue is too big or too small...every event is a showcase for these four incredible musicians to get you up out of your seat and move to songs you grew up with and with tunes that you may be hearing for the first time.
